Steamed Asparagus

Asparagus is one of my favorite nutrient-rich vegetables. It is high in many vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, E, K, B6 and folate. It's also a great source of minerals, including iron, potassium, copper, and calcium. 

It is extremely cleansing to the kidneys, is very efficient at lowering oxidative damage in the body, and id very high in fiber - all amazing qualities! 

We like to enjoy asparagus naked - undressed - aka simply steamed. As you know from looking at our other blog posts, most of our recipes include A LOT of herbs and spices, so it's nice to enjoy the simple and delicious flavor that nature imparts into asparagus.
